About Mike

Michael Cameron has twenty-plus years experience as an airbrush artist who combines two medias; airbrushing and free formed images of the great west from clay. Using airbrush tools, he adds color to bring out the firm strong features of his forms. The creative imagination of Mike Cameron was inspired by the legends of the west where he lived and was raised as a child.

The richness of the land and sky he loved allowed him to blend earth tones into radiant realism. Believing that his spirit is guided from an ancient Indian tribe from his ancestral past allows him to become one with the clay he works with, and modern education enhances his intuitive wisdom. Each piece of artwork is from an high fired clay body, using no molds which makes each and everyone of Mr. Cameron's sculptures a one of a kind.

Where is Mike's artwork made?

All of Mike's work is created from beginning to finish at his design studio in Sandy, Utah. Mike enjoys to work from his studio in an area where there are many Native American cultural influences. His work environment reminds him of his childhood growing up, which has influenced his work tremendously. Mike lives in an area surrounded by a large Native American community.
